FeTCANA, the Federation of Tamil Catholic Associations of North America, Inc., is a registered non-profit umbrella organization connecting and uniting Tamil Catholic associations and groups across the United States and Canada.

Since its founding in 2020, FeTCANA has been a spiritual home and community hub for Tamil-speaking Catholics, bringing together associations from across 50 states in the USA and provinces in Canada. These associations and groups, formed to celebrate Tamil Mass and nurture cultural and spiritual connections, are now united under the mission and vision of FeTCANA.

Who We Are
FeTCANA was born out of the recognition that Tamil-speaking Catholics scattered across North America needed a collective platform to strengthen their faith and cultural heritage. By bringing together these associations, we’ve created an umbrella organization to foster unity, collaboration, and mutual support among Tamil Catholics.

Since its inception, FeTCANA has grown into a vibrant and dynamic community that celebrates faith, fellowship, and Tamil identity. Through our shared liturgical celebrations and cultural events, we continue to honor the rich spiritual and cultural traditions of the Tamil Catholic community.

What We Do
FeTCANA is dedicated to:
        •        Uniting and connecting Tamil Catholic Associations across North America.
        •        Promoting Tamil Mass and liturgical celebrations, preserving our cultural and spiritual heritage.
        •        Strengthening Spirituality: Providing opportunities to grow in faith as one body of Christ.
        •        Empowering Associations: Enabling each group to thrive while learning from and supporting one another.
        •        Building Community: Offering a platform to connect, collaborate, and celebrate as a united Tamil Catholic family.

Our Milestones
FeTCANA began its journey in 2020 with a Virtual Christmas Celebration, followed by:
        •        Advent and Christmas Celebrations
        •        Lenten Reflections
        •        Easter Celebrations
        •        Rosary Month
        •        Various Catholic Liturgical Calendar Events and Feasts

Through these events, we’ve built a network of faith and fellowship, connecting Tamil Catholics across borders and strengthening their bond with the Church and each other.
